    We recommend the easiest and fastest way to identify and connect to illuminators is using the RayLED Discovery Tool where the IP address can be altered or DHCP enabled. Using the RayLED Discovery Tool avoids the need to have the computer and illuminator in the same network range in order to alter the IP address.

    The illuminator responds to multicast messages - and therefore does not need to have a valid IP address in the same network range for the RayLED Discovery Tool to find it. But it does require a valid IP address for connection and communication.
