1. Introduction We would like to extend our congratulations on your recent purchase of our product. Before using it for the first time, we kindly request you to read the manual thoroughly and follow all provided instructions. To ensure the proper functioning and longevity of the product, please take note of the following guidelines: Avoid exposing the product to liquids in the form of dripping or splashing.

2. Digital Signage Player Application Home Screen Once your screen has powered up and begins to play content, press the “STOP” button on the remote control to go back to the Home Screen (pictured below). Figure 3 Home Screen...
System Menu Operation From the Home Screen, you can bring up the Main Menu by pressing the “SETUP” button on the remote control. The Main Menu includes following sub-menus: System Settings, System Control, Network Settings, Date & Time, Power On/Off, Timer Strategy, File Management and Exit.
Display Language The On Screen Display (OSD) supports multiple languages, with the default being English. As with all menu operation, press “DOWN” to access the sub-menu then use the navigation buttons to select the right item, pressing “PLAY” to confirm selection. Screen Mode Here you can set the screens orientation so that the OSD and content display correctly.
Screen Resolution This menu allows you to set the screen resolution; this should be set to 1920x1080. On Screen Clock This option allows you to display a clock while content is playing. There are 5 options, as pictured below: • Close: The screen doesn’t display time.
Play Log When the slider is turned on (blue), the screen will record all media files that are displayed. This allows you to enable or disable the USB port. If you want to be able to update the screen via plug and play, please ensure this is turned on (blue).
Sync Settings The synchronization feature allows multiple screens to display the same content at the same time. Sync Settings - enable or disable the feature of synchronization. Sync Setting - set the role that the screen has during synchronization. • Host - set the screen as the unique host in a network;...
Restore to Factory Settings Highlight “Yes” and press “PLAY” to restore factory settings; this will restore all system settings back to default. Auto Start This feature allows your screen to start playing the pre-loaded content as soon as it has finished booting up. If you want to enable this feature (recommended), please ensure this is turned on (blue).
3. System Control To exit a sub-menu, please press the “LEFT” navigation button on the remote control. You can now navigate through the Main Menu sub-menus. The sub-menus within this section are: Work Mode, Content Management, Content Storage and Machine Name.
Network Setting To exit a sub-menu, please press the “LEFT” navigation button the remote control. You can now navigate through the Main Menu sub-menus. To set accurate values, first select the top “date” field by pressing “PLAY”. Server Configuration This section contains the information that allows the screen to communicate with the server. All settings within this section will be pre-set before you receive your goods.
Proxy Server Setup In most cases, this should be turned off. If your network has a proxy server, the slider should be turned on (blue). This will prompt three more options to appear: 2.5.1.1 Proxy server address 2.5.1.2 HTTP port 2.5.1.3 SOCKS port All of these options must be given values.
Wi-Fi Setting This feature is only available when the screen is set to “Wi-Fi” mode. It allows you to select your Wi-Fi network and input your password. This information will then be saved so that when the screen reboots, it automatically looks for your Wi-Fi network and has the credentials to connect.
Date & Time To exit a sub-menu, please press the “LEFT” navigation button the remote control. You can now navigate through the Main Menu sub-menus. As the screens are able to retrieve an accurate time from the server using Network Time Protocol, you shouldn’t need to input manual values.

Power On/Off If you want your screen to power on and off automatically at designated times, you can use the CMS to set up an on/off timer. If you wish to manually set on/off times for your screen, please set the “Control Mode” to “Manual”. Timer Strategy This feature allows you to schedule your screen to play at different volumes at different times of the day and switch to different AV inputs at different times of the day. This can be achieved remotely using the CMS; however, if you wish to input these values manually you can do so.
Navigate to a timer field and press “PLAY” on your remote control. Activate the timer, then set a volume level and a start/end time. Finally, navigate to and select “SAVE”. Port Timer To enable this feature, turn the slider on (blue). New fields will now appear allowing you to set different AV inputs for different periods of the day.

File Management Here you can check storage information, such as memory capacity, used space and free space. You can also format the disk. You should be extremely careful here as formatting the disk will result in a total loss of data. Exit Highlighting and selecting this section will exit the Main Menu.
4. Display Settings As well as having a main system menu that can be accessed through your home screen, the unit also has a display setting menu for changing which input source is being displayed as well as altering values such as brightness, contrast and saturation. This can be accessed at any time by pressing the ‘MENU’...

6. Copying Files from a USB Drive If the Error! Reference source not found. is set to USB (default with Plug and Play purchased screens) you can copy files directly f rom a USB drive onto the screen to play the content on a loop. Make sure to reference the Supported Media Files table (Section 4.0) for the correct formats and resolution of the content.

Step 4 Remove the USB drive. Step 5 The content on the USB drive will now play on the screen. If the content isn’t playing or didn’t copy over, please make sure to check the Supported Media Files table (Section 4.0).
7. Advertising LCD Playlist Editor Software Although this unit can operate without using any additional software, for more advanced applications please download and install the Advertising LCD Playlist Editor software from the link below. This will allow you to create playlists and set up schedules without using My Signage Portal.
Creating Playlists The Playlist Editor is laid out in a user-friendly way with the primary functions on the left-hand side in easy to follow steps. 7.2.1 Add Schedule The schedule functions as a timer for the playlists, so you can have between one and eight playlists scheduled to start and end at different times of the day, with up to 50 files in each playlist.
7.2.2 Add Selected Items Adding Images Click the Add Image button. Select one of the schedules created from the Add Schedule section. Click ‘Browse’ and locate the image you wish to use. Enter a duration time of the image (this is the time it takes to transition to another image on the chosen schedule). Choose from the list of available transitions.
7.2.3 Adding Audio Click the Add MP3 button. Select one of the schedules created from the Add Schedule section. Click ‘Browse’ and select the desired MP3 file. Enter a volume level for the MP3 file. Click ‘OK’ to add the MP3 file to the chosen schedule.
7.2.4 Adding Video Click the Add Video button. Select one of the schedules created from the Add Schedule section. Click ‘Browse’ and select the desired video file. Click ‘OK’ to add the video file to the chosen schedule.
7.2.5 Adding Scrolling Text Click the Add Scroll Message button. Enter the message you would like to run across the bottom of the screen. Click ‘OK’ to add the desired message to the schedule. If you have a pre-existing text file (.txt) containing your message, highlight the ‘Import from file’ checkbox and click ‘Browse’.
7.2.6 Saving Insert a USB drive into your PC and make sure there are no files showing on the drive. Click ‘Step3: Save to Disk’. Click ‘Browse’ and select the USB drive as the location of the playlist and files. Click ‘Save’.

Video Format Conversion If the video file is not playing properly on the screen or it does not meet the requirements of the Supported Media Files table (Section 4.0), please use the following free Video Converter tool, Format Factory. Step 1 Download and install the free Video Converter software for Windows Vista/7/8/10/11 named Format Factory.

Step 7 Make sure the ‘Video Encode’ is set as ‘MPEG(Xvid)’ for the best quality and to change the ‘Video Size’ to the recommended resolution is as shown on the Supported Media Files table (Section 4.0). For example, for a Landscape video this will need to be 1920 x 1080 whilst a Portrait video will be instead be 1080 x 1920.

Connecting the screen to a PC. If your PC/Laptop has a HDMI output then you may connect this to your screen to use as an external display. Simply connect one end of a HDMI cable to the screens HDMI input (see Figure 2 Inputs OverviewFigure 3 ) and the other to your PCs HDMI output port.
My media files will not update. If you are having problems updating your display follow these steps to ensure it is not a technical issue. Ensure that there are no additional unsupported files or folders stored on the USB drive. Make sure the USB drive is firmly inserted into USB slot Before contacting your supplier try another USB drive to be certain this is not the fault.

Warnings Image retention, commonly known as screen burn-in, can occur on most types of LCD panels if the same image is displayed continuously. The most common causes of image retention are logos that remain stationary on the LCD panel. To reduce this risk, avoid displaying still images for long durations and lower the brightness settings to decrease the intensity of the picture.
