REMOTE BATTERY INSTALLATION
1. Loosen and remove the lock screw located on the side of your remote control and remove the battery compartment
lid.
2. Insert 2 AA batteries according to the polarity information located in the compartment; make sure the (+) and (-)
poles of each battery are positioned correctly, (Figure 1).
3. Replace the battery compartment door and screw; tighten screw completely to lock in place.
VEHICLE BATTERY CHARGING
Your Timber Rover is powered by a rechargeable lithium battery. To charge the battery, please do the following:
1. Loosen and take out the lock screw located on the bottom of your Timber Rover and remove the battery
compartment lid.
2. Remove the rechargeable cell by pressing down on the release lever located on the female connector, (Figure 2).
3. Attach the wired end of the lithium battery to the USB charging cable included with your Timber Rover by inserting
the male end of the cell into the female connector; align the two pins of the connector with corresponding
receptacles of the male end.
4. Plug the USB end into a PC or charging block. WARNING: Only use a charging block rated at 5.0 volts or lower.
5. One side of your USB charging cable will illuminate in red while charging. When charging is complete, the light will
turn off. Fully charge the battery before first use.
6. After charging, reinstall the lithium battery into the Timber Rover by inserting the male end of the cell into the
female connector; align the two pins of the connector with corresponding receptacles of the male end (Figure 3).
Replace the battery compartment door and screw; tighten screw completely to lock in place.
OPERATION
1. Activate your Timber Rover by moving the red toggle switch located on the bottom of the vehicle to the ON
position. To deactivate, move the switch to the OFF position.
2. Use the trigger of the remote to control the direction your Timber Rover moves. Pulling the trigger back will move it
forward; pushing the trigger forward will move it in reverse, (Figure 4).
3. Your Timber Rover turns using the dial located on the top of your remote. To turn right, move the dial forward/
clockwise. To turn left, move the dial backward/counterclockwise, (Figure 4).
