TIP: Fisheye Image Configuration
When the MVC-9710 camera is installed and set up as described in this Guide, it outputs a
360-degree fisheye image.
Image "de-warping" and configuration are performed in the Evidence Manager video man-
agement/player software. For more information, please see the Evidence Manager User
Guide (part #700-1157).
Service
If your MVC-9710 camera is to be returned for service, please call (toll free) 1.877.630.7366 or 1.844.899.7366, and
provide the model and/or serial number of your unit. Ask for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. An RMA
number allows the Service Technicians to better track your product when it comes in for service. Please show the RMA
number on the outside of the package. ANY PRODUCT SENT WITHOUT AN RMA# MAY BE REFUSED.

The MVC-9710 camera is compatible with MobileView 7000 series recorders
running Service Pack 3 or newer firmware.

Camera Description
SD Card Slot
Lens
Ceiling Mount: this camera kit is designed for ceiling mount
applications.
Electrical: Only qualified service members should install wiring to
prevent overload of the power cord. Always use a genuine MobileView
PoE product, such as MVNS-3200 PoE Switch to power the camera.
Cables: PoE (802.3af) Cat5, 24AWG stranded or better. Standard RJ45
jack.
Ventilation: Install the camera in a well-ventilated location.
Temperature: Do not operate the camera beyond the specified
temperature and humidity ratings.
Service: Only qualified service personnel should repair and service the
camera, or the product warranty may be invalidated. To avoid personal
injury, do not dismantle the camera, except as required for normal
installation.
Cleaning: Dust or grease on the dome bubble will cause IR reflection.
If required, wipe the dome bubble with a clean, soft cloth and isopropyl
alcohol.
