TBS6916 Signal Connection Mode and Usage Instruction
The TBS6916 uses two chips, each has 8 demodulators and integrated with tuners,
and the chips adopted of the multiplexing technology, which provides more
diverse signal connection methods. Now, let's introduce three typical modes:
Setting the mode in the driver:
Create a configuration file:
touch /etc/modprobe.d/stid135.conf
1.# Mode 0, Multswitch mode
It is the default mode set by the driver. So, there is no need to configure the driver
settings file.
Or if you want to set the configuration file, please enter:
Vim /etc/modprobe.d/stid135.conf
Options stid135 mode= 0
After the setup complete, please reboot the system to apply the configuration file.
Any RX terminal such as Quad-LNB or Multiswitch can be connected arbitrarily.
Quattro-LNB/Multiswitch :
In this mode, the four signal input ports of the 6916 output four signal
polarizations respectively: VL(LNB0) 、VH(LNB1) 、HL(LNB2) 、HH(LNB3) ,
When use Quattro-LNB , the corresponding polarization signal lines must be
correctly connected.
