1. SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS. This manual contains important safety and operating instructions for Porter-
Cable Models 8301 and 8621 Battery Chargers.
2. BEFORE USING A BATTERY CHARGER, read all instructions and cautionary markings on (1) battery
charger, (2) battery pack, and (3) product using battery.
3. CAUTION: To reduce risk of injury, Porter-Cable charger Model 8301 should only be used to charge Porter-
Cable battery pack Model 8300, Porter-Cable charger Model 8621 should only be used to charge Porter-Cable
battery pack Model 8620 or 8720. Other types of batteries may burst causing personal injury and damage. Do not
charge Porter-Cable Model 8300 battery pack with any charger other than Porter-Cable Model 8301. Do not charge
Porter-Cable Model 8620 or 8720 battery pack with any charger other than Porter-Cable Model 8621.
