    6 - Basic Principles The GTR.600C and GTR.650C have been designed by FACOM in order to ensure that all operational, inspection and adjustment procedures are entirely visual and readily visible at distances of up to six metres thanks to the colour screen included.

    Steering test Necessary for the measurement of the castor and pivot pin inclination. Two procedures are available. - Simplified procedure + / - 10° (recommended) castor and pivot measurement. - Complete 0°, + 10°, + 20°, -10°, -20°, -0° castor pivot and steering variance at 20°. IMPORTANT : The brake pedal press must be used.
  • Page 10 Equipment installation: - Place the vehicle in position (wheels straight) on correctly installed (assembly pins) plates (UB.7A and UB.8A). - Install the head-carriers (UB.67) on the vehicle wheels and fit the safety grips (UB.12) (be sure to tighten the mounting screws correctly). - Place the heads in position on the head-carriers.

    7.3 Data retrieval by customer name Search by customer Press "F4" You can select by: date, registration number, customer name or town. Move your cursor using the direction keys or the keyboard: enter the first letter in the right-hand field and accept the resulting selection by pressing Enter on the keyboard.

    8.8.1 Sensor verification Maintenance. (Sensor checking) Validate using the Enter key. This screen lets you verify the accuracy of L and T sensors. With the heads in position on the vehicle, the algebraic sum of sensors L and T must be near zero. Formula: (T1+T2-L1-L2+L3+L4-T3-T4=0).

    10.8 Report Personalized report In one of the results screens, press F5 to go to the “ Personalized Report ” screen. Two remarks bases are available: One with preset expressions. With the steering wheel mechanically locked in position (with the ignition key removed) after validation of the option you will obtain a read-out of the wheel alignment, with the equipment carrying out compensation itself.

The message blinking in yellow will indicate the need to enter body height data for the vehicle in order to obtain the benchmark values for camber, castor and pivot angles.
