5.0 MAINTENANCE
5.1 Maintaining the drying unit
The basic maintenance principle of the CD unit is to prevent plastic granules and dust from entering
the blower.
The drying air filter (143) should be cleaned once a week or as necessary. If materials with large
contents of dust have been processed, e.g. regrind, we recommend daily cleaning of the filter.
5.1.1 Maintaining the air filter (143)
1. Turn off the power switch (76) on the control box.
2. Loosen the hand levers (139).
3. Remove the cover (140). Warning! The cover may be very hot.
4. Loosen the nut (141) at the end of the cartridge filter (143). The filter can now be removed and
cleaned by compressed air or replaced.
