Thank you for buying this Pioneer product.
Please
read through these operating instructions so you
will know how to operate your model properly.
After you
have finished reading the instructions, put them away in a
safe place for future reference.
In some countries or regions, the shape of the power plug
and power outlet may sometimes differ from that shown in
the explanatory
drawings.
However,
the method
of
connecting and operating the unit is the same.

DO NOT EXPOSE THIS APPLIANCE TO RAIN OR
MOISTURE.
"This product complies with the Radio Interference require-
ments of the EC (European Community) Directive 87/308/EEC."
THE
POWER
SWITCH
IS SECONDARY
CONNECTED
AND
THEREFORE DOES NOT SEPARATE THE UNIT FROM MAINS
POWER IN STANDBY POSITION.
LINE VOLTAGE SELECTOR SWITCH
Only multi-voltage
models
are provided with this
switch. U.S., Canadian, European, U.K., and Australian
models are not provided with this switch.
Mains voltages in Saudi Arabia are 127V and 220V
only. Never use this model with 110V setting in Saudi
Arabia.
The line voltage selector switch
is located on the rear
panel of this player. Before your player is shipped from
the factory, the switch is set to the power requirements
of the player's destination. Check that it is set properly
before plugging the power cord into the outlet. If the
voltage is not properly set or if you move
to an area
where the voltage requirements differ, adjust the selector
switch as follows:
Use a medium-sized (flat blade) screwdriver. Insert the tip
of the screwdriver into the groove of the selector switch
and turn it to set the player to the power voltage of your
area.
Set the selector
so
that arrow
points to
power voltage of your
area
(Figure
shows
arrow pointing to 220
volts.)

Questions and answers
the player gifs picture, but no sound
The Pioneer CLD-150K player may display pictures but have no sound if the disc is not encoded with the necessary signals to activate the CX noise reduction system. Some discs marked with the CX symbol do not include these signals, which can cause noisy or missing audio.
