    Product Description Sleep Lab Bed™ is an air-adjustable mattress with 45 levels of soft/firm comfort settings. The mattress has a safe working load of 1,050 lb. and comes in Full XL or Queen sizes. The wired hand control provides the ability to adjust comfort settings and saves a preferred comfort level.

    If the patient would have any clinical conditions that could result in risk of falling or improperly lying in bed, the bed should be left at its lowest setting and in flat position when not attended. Agiliti recommends the use of bed rails if they are available.
  • Page 10 Only authorized users should operate the Sleep Lab Bed™. A thorough understanding of the product’s user manual is required before use. Follow the instructions contained in this manual carefully. Use product only if it is in proper working order. The terms “Warning” and “Caution” are used frequently throughout this manual. A clear and concise understanding of these two terms is required.

    1. Remove the standard mattress from the base (if applicable). 2. Replace with the Sleep Lab Bed, ensuring the air hose is at the head end of the bed. 3. Connect the Y adapter to both ports exiting the pump.

    Operating Instructions ELECTRICAL SHOCK HAZARD WARNING : Ensure the power cord is plugged into a properly grounded 100 – 240 VAC outlet. Initial Inflation 1. Press the “Full” button for quick inflation. Depending on the amount of air currently inside the mattress, it may take 5 to 7 minutes to inflate fully.

    Cleaning Instructions ELECTRICAL SHOCK HAZARD WARNING: Before cleaning and disinfection procedures are performed, unplug the power cord from the outlet to eliminate the possibility of electrical shock. CAUTION: It is recommended that gloves and protective clothing be worn during cleaning and disinfecting.
  • Page 19 — Rinse after using a cleaning agent: When you wipe across a surface with a cleaner/chemical strong enough to kill bacteria, you must rinse afterward. Leaving the cleaner to dry on the surface will shorten the lifespan of the top cover. NOTE: If additional cleaning is necessary, the top cover may be removed and laundered using standard hospital disinfectant/detergent.

    3. Store the pump and mattress in air temperatures from 14°F to 109°F (-10°C to 43°C). DO NOT expose the pump to humidity greater than 93 percent. 4. End-of-life Agiliti products must be disposed of properly according to local laws and regulations. If your product contains a battery and/or electronics components, disposal of those components must be completed separately from standard waste disposal.

    CAUTION: Only authorized personnel should engage in the troubleshooting process. Troubleshooting by unauthorized persons could result in personal injury or equipment damage.   • Page 23 — Damage or malfunctions resulting from work performed by service providers not authorized by Sizewise Manufacturing. — Repairs performed on an Agiliti product or parts missing a serial number or with a serial tag that has been altered, tampered with, or defaced in any manner.
  • Page 24 Exclusive Remedies For any product described above that Sizewise Manufacturing determines to have failed to conform to this limited warranty, Sizewise Manufacturing will provide, at its option, one of the following: 1. Repair. 2. Replacement; or 3. Refund of the purchase price.
