Shooting
Symptom
Even if I press the
shutter button, the
digital video camera
does not shoot.
Images do not
appear on the LCD
monitor.
The flash does not
fire. The flash cannot
recharge.

flash fired, the image

The battery is running low.
The power is not on.

not in shooting mode.

Solution
Reload the battery.
Turn the power on.
Slide the mode switch to
shooting mode.
Press the shutter button
all the way.
Load a new card, or
delete unwanted files.
Load a new memory card.
Wait until the system LED
off.
Format the memory card
in this digital video
camera before its first use
or when it was used other
than this digital video
camera.
Turn the power on again.
Turn the power on.
Adjust the brightness of
the LCD monitor in the
SYSTEM MENU.
Set the focus switch to
position.
Set the flash to something
other than flash off mode.
Get closer to your subject
and capture.
Set the flash to something
other than flash off mode.
Set the exposure
compensation to a larger
value.
