Open up the world of music with the Super Sounds Guitar.
Adapted for maximum accessibility, the guitar adds two
accessible switches and a base with suction cups for stability on
a table or wheelchair tray. Practice fine motor skills by exploring
the guitar's touch-sensitive neck—lightly press the cheerful
animal buttons on the neck for single notes, or strum the body for
a full chord. One adaptive switch activates the song mode,
changing songs with each press, and the other activates the
whammy bar's sound effects. Two play modes double the fun
with music and silly sounds. Size: 16½"L × 8"H × 7"D. Requires 3
AA Batteries. Weight: 2 lbs.
Operation:
1. Super Sounds Guitar requires 3 AA batteries. Use alkaline
batteries only (e.g. Duracell or Energizer brand). Do not use
rechargeable batteries or any other type of batteries because
they supply lower voltage and the unit will not perform
properly. Never mix old and new batteries together or different
brands or types of batteries together.
2. The battery compartment is located on the back of the Guitar.
Carefully remove the small screw from the cover using a
Phillips head screwdriver, and lift the cover off. Observing
proper (+) & (-) battery polarity, install 3 AA size batteries into
the holder. Replace the cover and screw. Next set the volume
switch to low or high. Set to one of two play modes, one music
or two animal sounds via the slide switch on the Guitar.
3. Activate any one of the large gumball switches on the front of
the base to play fun music and sound effects. We have switch
adapted two functions on the Super Sounds Guitar. The blue
Einstein button at the top of the Guitar and the Whammy Bar.
Our large easy to press switches will replicate these two
functions as noted.
4. For a more detailed overview and information on all the
functions and features, please reference the included OEM
instruction guide.
Troubleshooting:
Problem: Super Star Guitar does not work.
Action #1: Rotate (spin) the batteries within the battery
compartment to ensure a good connection. Check that all
batteries are installed properly.
Action #2: Check all batteries for freshness, if weak or dead
replace with new batteries. Use an alkaline battery (E.G. Duracell
or Energizer brand).
Care of the Unit:
Super Sounds Guitar can be wiped clean with any mild
household multi-purpose, non-abrasive cleaner and disinfectant.
We recommend Simple Green, which is a non toxic
biodegradable all-purpose cleaner.
Do not use abrasive cleaners, as they will scratch the
surface of the unit.
Do not submerge the unit, as it will damage the electrical
components.
