    5. Operator safety warnings ELIET cannot anticipate every situation in which a risk or danger can occur. The warning symbols in this operating manual and the labels on the machine are therefore not comprehensive. Alt- hough minimal, a residual risk will always be present. If while operating the machine you apply a working method, operation or technique that is not explicitly recommended by ELIET, make sure that it does not represent a danger for bystanders.

    6. Most important parts To fully understand the content of this operating manual you need to be fully conversant with the terminology used for the descriptions. This chapter refers to a broad range of machine parts and identifies their names. We recommend that you take the time to study the machine prior to its use for a better understanding of the descriptions provided in this operating manual.

You can contact him for original ELIET parts and lubricants at any time. These service parts are manu- factured according to the same strict rules and craftsmanship as the original equipment.

    The safety messages are clearly indicated on the machine with stickers or relief pictograms. Take good notice of the symbols and warning messages displayed. This sticker is applied to the front of the Eco Cure; it gives a variety of pictograms: Before operating the machine the manual should be read and understood.

    7.2 Safety features Aeration axle protection guard: On the Eco Cure model, the protective cover is provided in order to stop the user or bystander accidentally allowing their hands to come into contact with the aeration axle. This protective cover has been de- signed according to European safety standards.

    • Carefully observe all safety instructions when using this ELIET machine! Carefully read all the instructions relating to the operation of the machine. All these instructions are important for your own personal safety. • Always observe the applicable regulations of the Labour Inspectorate to avoid accidents.

    • ELIET machines are packaged in accordance with common rules for proper transportation. De- liveries are always ex factory. Consequently, ELIET cannot be held liable for any damage that occurs during transport. • If the packaging is damaged upon receipt of the goods, check the state of the machine to ensu- re it is not damaged.

    Warning: You must ensure that the tractor (whether it is a ride-on mower or a quad) can take a minimum weight of the weight of the Eco Cure plus its load (around 350kg). Your machine will be delivered with a connection kit for connecting to the battery.
  • Page 17 • Fold the support base inwards so that the Eco Cure rests on the tractor. • The extendable switch panel remains connected to the Eco Cure; you can disconnect or connect to the tractor by inser- ting the plug in the socket.

    • Pull the conveyor belt’s operation lever towards you in order to engage the conveyor belt. 9.3.2 Aeration The Eco Cure is equipped with an aeration axle with 32 blades; these have a maximum work depth of 8 cm and provide 120 holes per square metre.
  • Page 20 Output of compost and fertiliser is adjusted via the two upper adjust- ment knobs; these regulate the height of the rear plate.

    • Ensure that the vehicle’s handbrake is on. • Under no circumstances should the angle of the incline exceed 15°. • Attention and care while loading and offloading the Eco Cure can prevent it from tipping over and causing an accident.

His staff can always obtain advice and service from ELIET’s help desk in order to provide you with an impeccable after-sales service.

    • Condition of plug Any necessary replacement and/or repair works must be undertaken immediately. Visit your authorised ELIET dealer to have them carried out (find an authorised ELIET dealer near you on www.eliet.eu). Cleaning the machine entails more than just cleaning the outside. Open all protective covers so that you can also clean the inside of your machine.

    (Do not use a cleaning agent that will remove paint or stickers) • Any stickers that are no longer legible must be replaced. Original stickers can be purchased from your ELIET dealer. • Compressed air can be used to easily blow out and clean some parts.

    11.3.2 Instruction for replacing the blades A new blade set can be ordered from your ELIET supplier with the following article number: ??? A blade must be replaced if it is broken. This also applies if the point of the blade has been blunted to up to 52 mm, measured from the interim bush on the axle to the blade point.

    11.3.4 General lubrication treatment ELIET is committed to using high-quality materials that extend a machine’s life cycle, despite the machine being subjected to what can be extreme working conditions. For this reason, special lubrication products have already been applied in the factory.
  • Page 27 The whole blade axle can also be sprayed with penetrating oil. Given that penetrating oil on the basis of MoS2 treats rust, the use of this product can never be harmful. All of the lubricants mentioned are available from your ELIET-dealer; consult www.eliet.eu for your nearest dealership.

Based upon this know- ledge, the necessary steps have been taken in line with Machine Directive 2006/42/EEC in order to ensure full operator safety at correct use of the machine.

    At ELIET, we have strict quality rules on designing and manufacturing products. The purpose of these rules is to guarantee a long service life and permanent safety. That is why ELIET is happy to repair any hidden defects or faults during the whole run-in period (i.e. the warranty period) free of charge, provided the prescribed procedure is followed.
  • Page 32 In addition, the enclosed registration card is completed in its entirety on the day of purchase. The first part of the card has to be returned to ELIET within one month. The customer is required to keep all remaining parts of the card along with the purchase invoice for the duration of the warranty period.
