Intended Use
This product is classed as Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and complies with standards EN 407, EN 420 and EN 388. Heavy duty
welders gauntlets for use during TIG welding tasks, and also for use with wood burners, multi-fuel stoves and bread ovens.
Note: There is no standardized test method at present for detecting U.V. penetration of materials for gloves but the current methods of
construction of protective gloves for welders do not normally allow penetration of U.V. radiation.
Maintenance
General inspection
• Thoroughly inspect new and used gloves before use
• Do not repair. If damaged, replace both gloves
• The information supplied regarding the protection refers to the working surface, i.e. the palm of the glove
• The protection and performance levels specified are only valid for new gloves
Cleaning
• These gloves should not be laundered or washed
• Light cleaning of the protection area only can be carried out with a damp cloth
• Thoroughly dry protection area of the glove before use
