This User Manual contains key features, operating instructions (intended use, maintenance, repair, storage and transportation) of GRAD Black G1 ECO mosquito killing system (hereinafter – device). Before using the device, please carefully read this User Manual. The device has a long service life and works efficiently if used according to the Manual’s recommendations.

Halogen bulbs are installed under the device’s cover. Light bulbs heat the housing up to body temperature of a human or warm-blooded animal and illuminate the mosquito suction zone. An engine with a fan is located inside the housing. Attracted to the device by heating, CO smell of an attractant, insects get sucked by the fan inside the main unit through a gap located between the cover and the housing.

A cylinder with carbon dioxide with a volume of 10 liters is sufficient for 7-8 days of operation (a 40 liter cylinder - for 28-30 days). Please, use purified carbon dioxide only. Gas with impurities significantly reduces the effectiveness of the device. The most effective is carbon dioxide obtained by fermentation (a by- product in the manufacture of beer, alcohol).

In gas pressure reducer tuning sheet specified: 1) the rotameter readings show the calculated flow rate of the gas coming out of the reducer necessary for the operation of the device. These values are preset by the manufacturer and must not be changed, 2) the readings on the outlet pressure gauge are the gas pressure readings which provide the necessary flow rate.
