    SSPET5 4.1. Check ing the pipe sys tem Re move the flex i ble hose from the con nected ma te rial takeup. Close the open end of the hose with your hand. Con nect the unit to mains sup ply by the de vice plug. If the tur bine is op er at ing, your hand must feel the suc tion within few sec onds.

At home po si tion the in ner pipe of the suc tion pipe pro trudes about 120-160 mm (4.72-6.30 in) from the outer pipe at the top end.
