New forest cranes have performed a test run with hydraulic oil type HVLP 46. This oil type is suitable for hydraulic systems operating under a wide range of temperatures. -

The sink rate, measured at the far end of the lifting arm system, must not exceed 5% of the complete arm length within one minute. To examine the sink rate, the crane must hold the maximum permitted load at maximum possible hydraulic extension (without manual arm extensions).
