Type 5500A 4. Parametrization of KiDAQ Device and Channels Use of different Sampling Rates reduce amount recorded data recommended to select different sampling rates for different types of input signals. As a rule of thumb, we recommend a sampling rate, which is about 5 to 10 times higher than the expected signal bandwidth.
Parametrization of KiDAQ Device and Channels The Nyquist-Shannon sampling theorem applies to every digitization 0.5 x f is called the Nyquist frequency. sampling Signal components with a frequency higher than half of the sampling frequency must be filtered out of the signal with a low-pass filter before digitization;...
Type 5500A Method Use cases Comments Synchronizes device’s clock with external time Network or cloud setup server. Please Note: • Use an NTP time server close to your setup (preferred within your own network) • For use cases with multiple devices it may take several hours until all devices are synced down to a level of several 10 ms.

Type 5500A 6. Hardware Setup with multiple Measurement Devices Multiple KiDAQ or LabAmp devices can be used in one setup with KiStudio Lab Professional. For precise time synchronization between the devices a switch with PTP support (Precision Time Protocol, IEEE 1588) is highly recommended.
Hardware Setup with multiple Measurement Devices 1. Download HiView tool: https://catalog.belden.com/index.cfm?event=pd&p=PF _HiView (needs a login) 2. Configure the physical Ethernet port of your PC to static IP address 192.168.103.3 (Netmask 255.255.255.0). Don’t forget to note your current settings to set them back after the procedure. 3.
Type 5500A Set the entry to be: IP Address: 192.168.103.101 Last IP Address: 192.168.103.130 Default Gateway: 192.168.103.31 DNS: any valid DNS server IP (e.g. 8.8.8.8) Activate the pool Set the changes Set the Switch Address and Time and save the Settings 1.
