    (For simplicity SmartD Technologies Inc. is referred to as SmartD throughout the document, and the SmartD Clean Power Variable Frequency Drive is referred to as Clean Power VFD) SDB series Clean Power VFDs have been designed for the specific requirements of fan and pump applications, however, their flexible design incorporating V/F control can be used in other applications requiring accurate speed control and fast torque response.

    Check the motor temperature rise specification is compatible with both the movement cycles and the operating environment.     Vac, with a maximum rating of 70 A, 480 Vac. SmartD recommends adding a 1 mH line reactor (input choke) between the fuses and the input power line of the Clean Power VFD. This line reactor creates a magnetic field when current flows through it, increasing the impedance of the line and reducing the total harmonic injected from the VFD onto the power electrical system.
