Any other use or use under other operating conditions is consid‐ ered to be improper and may result in personal injury or property damage. No lia‐ bility will be assumed for damages resulting from improper use.

    Installation Installation Unpack and check carefully there is no transportation damage before using the unit. Keep the equipment packaging. To fully protect the product against vibration, dust and moisture during transportation or storage use the original packaging or your own packaging material suitable for transport or storage, respectively. Create all connections while the device is off.

These can be simple yes-no queries or complex display, e.g. for entering a network key. The selected option is displayed with a white background. The current setting is marked with an asterisk.

    Setup Setup 6.1 Setup wizard When the device is switched on for the first time, a setup wizard is started to set the date and time as well as the network connection. The device is then ready for use. In the ( ‘System settings’ ) you can change these settings at any time and also restart the setup wizard.

    Setup If you select the ‘Pin’ option, the device generates an 8-digit code that you enter on your wireless router or access point. If you select the ‘Skip WPS’ option, then enter the network key as described above. Completing setup The device tries to connect to the set network.

    Setup Select one of the preset modes or create your own profile with custom bass, treble and loudness on / off. Language English is set as the default language. Select ‘System settings > Language’ to select a language. Available languages: English, Danish, Dutch, German, Italian, French, Spanish, Fin‐ nish, Norwegian, Portuguese, Turkish, Polish, Swedish.

    Operating Operating 7.1 Internet radio mode The device can play thousands of radio stations and podcasts broadcast worldwide via a broadband internet connection. If you call up the Internet radio mode with [MODE] or via the ‘Internet radio’ menu, the device connects to the radio portal and calls up the station list. The stations are sorted in various categories, e.g.

    Operating 7.2.3 Playlists The unit's playlist can contain up to 500 tracks. The tracks can have different sources (UPnP server, USB medium). Select ‘My playlist’ . Turn [CONTROL SELECT] to scroll through the playlist. UPnP tracks show the track name, USB media tracks show the file name. Briefly press [CONTROL SELECT] to start playback of a track.
