STEP 1: Remove drawer and drawer carriage Remove the top drawer and carriage to provide access for fastening bolts. Pull drawer out. Lift drawer up and remove. Remove drawer carriage. If you need to remove additional drawers to better access bolt locations, first disengage the locking mechanism(s) in the back of the cabinet by sliding them to the left.

STEP 2: Remove tabs 3/16 Inch Slotted Screwdriver Remove tabs in the cabinet top by twisting them out, according to the diagrams below. Painted Steel Top Remove tabs in the 2 holes closest to the front of the cabinet and the 2 rear holes closest to the cabinet’s sides.

STEP 3: Place and align top onto cabinet Painted Steel Top (1x) Laminated Wood Top (1x) Stainless Steel Top (1x) Stainless Steel Top Remove protective film. Place the top onto the cabinet. For Wood or Stainless tops, we recommend that two people place them onto the cabinet.

STEP 4: Fasten top onto cabinet Painted Steel Top #3 Screwdriver Phillips Bolt (4x) Washer (4x) Nylon-Insert Locknut (4x) 3/8 Inch Drive Ratchet 3/8 Inch Drive x 3 Inch Extension 3/8 Inch Drive x 7/16 Inch Socket Place 4 Phillips bolts into punched holes from the top. Place 4 washers and 4 nylon-insert locknuts onto the bolts from underneath top and tighten securely.

STEP 4: Fasten top onto cabinet Stainless Steel Top 5/16 x 1-1/4 Inch Flanged Hex 3/8 Inch Drive Ratchet Screw (4x) 3/8 Inch Drive x 3 Inch Extension 3/8 Inch Drive x 1/2 Inch Socket Place 4 flanged hex screws underneath top and tighten most of the way. Readjust top to make it flush with the cabinet.
