Handlebar extension
Operator-presence control cable

Note:
Retain all removed parts for later installation
unless otherwise indicated.
1. Shut off the machine, remove the electric-start
button, wait for all movement to stop, and allow
the machine to cool.
2. Remove the operator-presence control cable
from the handlebar
1. Bolt (M6 x 1-1/6 inches)
2. Upper handlebar

3. Disconnect the removed cable from the
operator-presence bail bracket by angling the
cable fitting free (Figure
