ASSEMBLY WARNING: Remove the battery pack before transporting the tool, performing cleaning or maintenance, fitting the plant guard, or making any adjustments to the tool, especially around the string head. Fitting and Removing the Battery The battery should always be removed whenever you are not using the tool and especially when you are adjusting or transporting the tool to avoid accidental operation. • Insert the battery: Slide it into the grass trimmer until it latches into place. Check that the battery is securely locked into place (Figure 5).
OPERATION Charging Important: The battery pack is not fully charged at the factory. Before attempting to charge it, thoroughly read all the safety instructions. Ensure that the charger you use is compatible with the battery pack. Plug the charger plug into the charging port of the battery pack. Plug the charger into a standard electrical outlet.

Temperature Guidelines for Charging: • Caution: Avoid charging batteries in temperatures below 4.5°C or above 40.5°C. • Optimal Conditions: Best performance and battery life are achieved when charged at an air temperature around 24°C. • Tool Temperature Limits: Charging will not occur if the tool's temperature is below 0°C or above 45°C.

Starting/Stopping the Trimmer Before operating this tool, ensure that the guard is fitted to the head. Never use the machine without the guard. • To switch the trimmer on, first push forward the unlock knob (1) and then hold the switch handle (2).

Adjusting the Trimmer Head Angle The angle of trimmer head can be set to different working positions. There are 3 pre-set lock positions. Press the angle adjustment button (15) with one hand and rotate the trimmer head (12) to the required position. Release the button and the head will lock into place.

Trimming Mode There are 2 working modes: normal trimming (Figure 14) and edging (Figure 15).
