ASSEMBLY Fitting and Removing the Battery (Sold Separately) Note: This product is designed to be used with CT20VBAT20A - Certa PowerPlus 20V 2.0Ah Lithium Battery, and CT20VHTLBCHB - Certa PowerPlus 20V Rapid Charger (65W) (sold separately). The battery should always be removed whenever you are not using the tool and especially when you are adjusting or transporting the tool to avoid accidental operation.

Temperature Guidelines for Charging: • Caution: Avoid charging batteries in temperatures below 4.5°C or above 40.5°C. • Optimal Conditions: Best performance and battery life are achieved when charged at an air temperature around 24°C. • Tool Temperature Limits: Charging will not occur if the tool's temperature is below 0°C or above 45°C.

Operating the Hedge Trimmer • To turn on the trimmer, simultaneously press down on the Front switch-handle (4) and Back switch-handle (5). • Releasing either switch-handle will cause the trimmer to stop suddenly. You may notice sparks from the ventilation slot; this is a normal phenomenon and will not damage the trimmer.
