Instead, hold the hood approximately 12-18 inches above the close position, then drop (release) the hood to latch it.

If an accident cannot be prevented, the system may help reduce the impact speed. Using both a camera and radar, this system can provide an audio/visual alert to warn you of a possible collision under certain circumstances.
