valve until the drill is running at full speed.
Never apply too much pressure, let the drill
work at its own pace.
Hire Shops
Lift it clear before turning OFF , and wait for
moving parts to stop before putting it aside.
EQUIPMENT CARE
Never push the equipment beyond its design
limits. If it will not do what you want with reasonable
ease, assume you have the wrong tool for the job. Ask
at your local HSS Hire Shop for advice.
Regularly check the condition of the drill bit, if it
show signs of excessive wear contact your local HSS
Hire Shop for a replacement.
Keep the equipment clean. You will find this less of
a chore if you clean up regularly, rather than wait unit
the end of the hire period.
When not in use, store the equipment somewhere
clean, dry and safe from thieves.
FINISHING OFF
Switch OFF the compressor, then open the drills
air valve until all the stored air has been
released. Remove the drill bit and disconnect
the air hose.
Thoroughly clean the drill, then neatly coil the
Air Rock Drill
air hose ready for return to your local HSS Hire Shop.
For boring holes in concrete,
masonry and stone up to 3.5m
deep.
