Sealed Branch Connector KLV411 Installation Instructions
INSTRUCTIONS PERTAINING TO A RISK OF FIRE, OR INJURY TO PERSONS
WARNING: Do not exceed the maximum connector capacity of 250 watts (21 amps) and never connect two
!
transformers together in an attempt to exceed 250 watts (21 amps) on one run. Doing so will overheat the
connectors creating a dangerous and unsafe condition.
KEEP THIS SHEET FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.
KLV411 Sealed Branch Connector: For branching of main cable (#8-2 or #12-2). Cable may be buried, remain
above grade or attached to a surface using two mounting holes provided. Each connector includes two halves secured
by two stainless steel Philips head screws, two wire connectors with eight set screws, and two sections of dielectric
mastic for waterproofing the connections.
Tools Required:
Philips Screwdriver
Installation Insructions:
1. Cut main cable at desired branch
location. Slit cable ends approx.
2". Strip all cable ends C".
Dividing Wall
4. Place cable into branch
connector bottom with one wire
connector on each side of the
dividing wall.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Make certain the electrical supply is OFF before starting installation.
2. Insert cable ends into wire
connectors and tighten screws.
5. Attach branch connector top with
the two self-tapping stainless
steel Philip head screws,
(provided).

3. Remove paper backing from both
sides of dielectric mastic. Stretch
one piece of dielectric mastic
around each wire connector,
molding it around connectors and
cables so they are completely
watertight.
