- Page 5 Battery Replacement 1. Once the battery power is low the LCD display will be faint, and the batteries will need to be replaced. 2. Turn off the meter and remove the battery cover. 3. Remove the batteries from the instrument and replace with two AAA 1.5V batteries not the polarity, replace the battery cover.
