Intended use The device PR 1626/60, ../61 is intended for the intrinsically safe separation of electrical devices which are located in an area prone to explosions and electrical devices located in a secure area.
General information Repairs are subject to inspection and must be carried out at Minebea Intec. In case of defect or malfunction, please contact your local Minebea Intec dealer or service center for repair. When returning the device for repair, please include a precise and complete description of the problem.
3 Device Description Intrinsically safe load Cell interfaces PR 1626/60, ../61 Device Description The device is used for intrinsically safe interface electrical equipment situated in a hazardous (Ex) area with electrical equipment situated in a safe area. The device is designed for weighing applications requiring intrinsically safe interfacing.

8 load cells of 650 Ω, connected in parallel (81.3 Ω) or for the connection of 4 load cells of 350 Ω, connected in parallel (87.5 Ω). The housing of the PR 1626/60, ../61 contains provisions for wall or rail mounting according to EN 60715.

Before mounting, the instructions in chapter have to be observed. The instrument is suitable for mounting in any position.

7 Disposal Intrinsically safe load Cell interfaces PR 1626/60, ../61 Disposal Our products and their packaging should not be disposed of in municipal waste (e.g. garbage can for recyclable packaging, garbage can for paper packaging, etc.). They can either be recycled by the customer themselves, providing this complies with requirements set out by electrical or electronic waste or packaging waste laws, or sent back to Minebea Intec at a charge.
