    Important Tips Important Battery Tips IMPORTANT The battery pack is a consumable item. The rate of battery deterioration depends on the usage environment, but as a guide, it will reach the end of its life after 1-3 years of use or 300-500 times of charging. If the battery pack swells or battery usage time is dramatically short even after being fully charged, we highly recommend replacing the battery.

If the battery operation time becomes noticeably short and not recovered even after recalibrating the battery, replace with a new battery. IMPORTANT The battery pack is not charged when you first purchase it. Be sure to charge it before using for the first time. Charging starts automatically when the AC adaptor is connected to the computer.

    Sleep/Hibernation Functions Starting Up Your Computer Quickly The sleep or hibernation functions allow you to shut off the computer without closing programs and documents. You can quickly return to the programs and documents that you were working on before sleep or hibernation. The sleep mode of this computer supports the modern standby mode.

    Wireless WAN <Only for model with wireless WAN> The model with wireless WAN allows for data communication using the incorporated communication module. The computer is equipped with a nanoSIM card slot and an eSIM. eSIM allows wireless communication without a nanoSIM card. This model is DSSS (Dual SIM Single Standby) and you can only make either nanoSIM Card or eSIM Active.

Because of this, apps, etc. that use date information from GPS will be affected by GPS Week Number Rollover.

    Do not forget your password. If you forget your Supervisor Password, you will not be able to use your computer. Contact Panasonic Technical Support. When running the Setup Utility, do not leave and go away from your computer even for a short time, since other people may set or change the password.
  • Page 76 The password will not be displayed on the screen. If the [Caution] screen appears when entering the password, check the status of Num Lock and Caps Lock. You can use up to 32 alphanumeric characters (including spaces). The case (upper/lower) is distinguished. Use only the upper horizontal row of numeric keys to input your password.
