Comfy Carry Harness Strap Replacement Instructions
Remove Harness Strap
Install Longer Harness Strap
DO NOT USE the longer replacement harness
strap with small infants weighing 5 kg (11 lbs.)
or less, as it may not fully tighten. A harness
that is not tight increases the risk of injury
during a crash or sudden stop.

Loosen Harness Straps
Push in on the harness
adjustment lever under the flap.
Pull out on harness straps just
above buckle tongues.
Remove Harness Straps from

Splitter Plate
Starting at the back of the infant
restraint, unhook harness strap
loops from splitter plate.

Thread the Harness Straps
Starting on the left side, insert
harness strap in the lower
harness slot, going completely
through both seat pad and
shell (1).
Make sure you weave the
harness strap in and out of the
shell, between shell and pad,
as shown, before threading the
harness strap up completely
through the shell and seat
pad (2).
NOTE:
DO NOT twist harness
straps.

Make Harness Straps Even
Take both ends of the harness
strap and make them even in
length.

NOTE:
Store original harness strap for future use with smaller
infants.

Failure to install the harness system correctly
can result in serious injury or death.
DO NOT put snowsuits or bulky
garments on your infant when
placing them in an infant
restraint.
Bulky clothing can prevent
the harness straps from being
tightened properly.
To keep infant warm, buckle
your infant in the infant restraint
and place a blanket around the infant or have the
infant wear their coat backwards.
Failure to follow these steps can result in serious
injury or death.

Remove Harness
Straps
From the front, pull harness
straps out from the upper
harness slots (1).
Unthread harness straps from the
chest clip (2).
Unthread harness straps from the
buckle tongues (3).
Pull harness straps out of lower
harness slots (4).
Thread left harness strap
through left buckle tongue and
right harness strap through
right buckle tongue. Make sure
to push through from the back
of buckle tongue.

Thread
the chest clip from front to back
as shown (4). DO NOT twist
harness straps.
Push left harness strap through
left upper harness slot and right
harness strap through right
From the back of the infant
restraint, fit the harness strap
loops onto the splitter plate.
NOTE:
Make sure sewn end of
the harness strap loops faces
towards you. DO NOT twist
