    Safety precautions This manual contains important warnings and information to prevent potential personal injury and property damage. The symbols and signs used in this manual and their meanings are as follows. Symbols Indicates a hazard which, if not avoided, could result in death or serious injury.

It could result in shortening of life, overheat, and/or fire. Rest your eyes for 10 to 15 minutes per hour. Failure to do so could cause eyestrain.

    Reference Power save function The monitor enters into power save mode after idling for a certain period of time to reduce power consumption.
