Always wear a US Coast Guard approved personal flotation device (PFD). Federal law requires that PFDs are used on kayaks and SUPs outside of a surfing, swimming or bathing area. Wear it! Carry a whistle on board. Required by federal law (beyond a surfing, swimming or bathing area) and allows you to signal other boaters.

Minors must be supervised and wear a US Coast Guard approved PFD at all times. This kayak must not be used by a child aged between 12 and 18 years old without adult supervision. This kayak must not be used by a child aged less than 12. Stay close to shore.

General Use Information ⚠WARNING! DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM CAPACITY AS SHOWN ON THE INSIDE OF THE KAYAK. Doing so will affect its handling, as well as reducing stability and increasing the chance of swamping. Make sure loads are distributed as centrally as possible. Keep loads low with heavier items in the bottom.
Rinse your kayak with fresh water after every use. Allow the kayak to fully dry before folding or storing. Properly carry your kayak. Never drag the kayak, always carry it. Properly fold your kayak. Fold your kayak starting from the end opposite from the valves, then fold towards the valve end and allow the kayak to deflate completely.

the smaller of the two openings – this is used for inflation only. Unscrewing the larger section of the valve (the valve body) will show the larger opening which is used for deflation only (see figures below). Inflate by pumping air into the smaller opening (under the dust cap). Deflation is not possible using this opening.
The straps can be tightened or loosened to move the seat backrest to your desired position. NOTE: For Coaster Single, the paddler should position the seat in a central location. For Coaster Tandem, the 2 seats should evenly split a central location. Store gear and cargo in front of and behind the seat(s).
