PRODUCT INFORMATION

The Giraffe Tools Stainless Steel Hose Reel Cart is composed of stainless steel hose reel and stainless steel frame. The entire unit is made of industrial-grade, tough grade stainless steel for extra strength and durability. Equipped with a 5ft. 5/8" leader hose, this reel cart can hold 200ft. 1/2" or 150ft. 5/8" garden hose (Note: A 3/4" hose may not be applicable to the hose guide).

Note: If you notice an initial aroma upon opening your package, this is due to the sealed environment in which the package traveled overseas.

2 INSTALLATION ALL FOR USE

Cart Installation

Crank handle install. Fit the hole of the crank handle over the hole of the handle rack. Screw the Phillips Screw (M8-12) on the upper screw hole of the handle and tighten with the screwdriver.
Guide system regulator install. Using the screwdriver to fix the guide system regulator onto the guide system with the 2 Self-tapping Screws (M4-14) and tighten them.
Pull the wrench on the regulator to move the regulator to the handle side. Pass the long hose (not included) through the guide system regulator, then connect the long hose to the water inlet connector and tighten.
Tips: To prevent leakage, it is recommended to use a wrench. Make sure the rubber washer in the connector is placed in the correct position.
Steel hoop install. Put the steel hoop on the hose and fix the hoop on the axis near the handle using the 2 Phillips Screws (M6-10). Tighten 2 screws at the same time.
Notice: Use one hand to hold the hose, and the other hand to screw on. The steel hoop will be deformed under the force (this is normal).
Frame install. Put the bottom frame on the ground, connected to L-shaped frame and push handle in turn in the direction shown in the picture. When push handle touches the snap button, press the snap button on both sides of push handle and continue to insert push handle until the snap button pop up.
Wheels install. Insert one axle through the lowers holes of the L-shaped frame. Assemble wheels on axles in the direction following shown in the photo. Put M16 flat washer. Insert Cotter Pin. Use the long nose pliers (not included) to break open the Cotter Pin. Repeat above to fix all 2 wheels.
Hose reel install. Put the whole hose reel onto the frame and use 4 Hexagon Flange Bolts (M8-45) to fix the hose reel and use 4 Hexagon Flange Nuts (M8) to tighten them.
Notice: Do not fully tighten the nut at this time.
Accessories basket install. Use 2 Hexagon Flange Bolts (M6-45) to fix the accessories basket and use 2 Hexagon Flange Nuts (M6) to tighten them.
Use your fingers to lift the loose screw and use your other hand to move the reel so that the screw is fully seated in the bayonet and tighten the nut firmly.

Your hose reel cart is now installed and ready to use!

Wall Installation

Choose a place for install. Due to the weight of the filled reel and the pulling force during use, the bracket must be installed on a solid surface.
Notice: The surface needs to be able to withstand 50kg of force. As a matter of convenience, please install the hose real close to your chosen water source. Make sure the leader hose can reach the faucet prior to mounting the hose reel.
Please repeat steps 1-4 above the "Cart Installation".
Install to the wall. Use a pencil to aim 4 dots at your chosen position according to the hole distance which is shown in the following. Use the 9/16" electric drill to drill 4 holes. Put the 4 Expansion Bolt (M12-70) in and use a hammer to let it inside the hole. Put the hose reel on the wall and use socket set or Phillips screwdriver to fix the bolts.

Your hose reel is now installed and ready to use!

PRODUCT TESTING

Check whether the hose is leaking:
- Leaking near the faucet
- Leaking near the hose reel
Check if there are washers in the brass connections.

Leakage near the brass connection

Leakage near the entry point of the leader hose

If a leakage occurs where the hose is connected to the reel, try to tighten it. Tighten one turn at a time.
Check whether the washer is in the brass connection.

The steel hoop unable to align the hole

Pinch both the screw holes and squeeze.

MAINTENANCE

DO NOT EXPOSE THE HOSE REEL TO THE COLD ENVIRONMENT IN WINTER
In winter, the water in the tube will expand and contract. The water might freeze and in turn crack the hose.

DO NOT USE ANY CHEMICALS
Do not use any chemicals or substances on this hose, such as dialysis, petroleum solvents, lactic acid, etc.

DO NOT IMMERSE THE HOSE REEL IN WATER
Do not immerse the hose reel in water for cleaning. It is easy to wipe the housing with a damp cloth, to extend the life of the hose reel.
