MODIFIED SINE WAVE

The output voltage waveform of the inverter is called "modified sine wave." It is a step waveform similar to household alternating current. This type of waveform is applicable to most of the load, including linear or switching power supply, transformer, electric motor etc. In a modified sine wave, the voltage rises and falls abruptly, the phase angle also changes abruptly, and it sits at 0 volts for some time before changing its polarity.
Note: Modified sine wave inverters are not suitable for all electrical appliances. Unusable appliances include some air-conditioning fans with capacitance voltage-reducing circuits.

HOW TO POWER AC APPLIANCES

Make sure the appliance you are plugging in is turned off.

  1. Connect the power cable plug of the electrical appliance to the AC outlet of the product.
  2. Press the "AC Power ON/OFF" button to turn on. The button will illuminate when it is on.
  3. Turn AC appliance on.
  4. The LED Display will display real-time wattage of the appliance.
  5. When finished, turn off device, remove power cable and press "AC Power ON/OFF" to turn outlets off. (If you leave the AC Power button on it will drain the battery.)

NOTICE: If the total output exceeds 150W, the power station will automatically shut off. Please ensure the power consumption is less than 150W, then press the AC Power button.

The AC outlets, AC voltage, and frequency are different according to different countries; please carefully check whether the product specifications are consistent with the appliance specifications before use, otherwise, it can lead to dangerous situations.
Note: When the AC port is not in use, turn "AC Power ON/OFF" button off to conserve power.

CANNOT SUPPORT DEVICES MORE THAN 150W

HOW TO POWER DC APPLIANCES

  1. Connect the power cable plug of the electrical appliance to USB outlets or 12V port.
  2. Press the "DC Power ON/OFF" button to turn on. The button will illuminate when it is on.
  3. The LED Display will display real-time wattage of the appliance.
  4. When finished, press "DC Power ON/OFF" to turn off DC power. (If there is no DC power output for 30s the DC power will turn off.)

NOTICE: If the total output exceeds the wattage output of the DC outlet, the power station will automatically shut off. Please ensure the power consumption is less than what the outlet is rated for before using the device.
QUICK CHARGE OUTPUT: This product supports Type-A QC30 and Type-C PD that output 5V/3A, 9V/2A, and 12V/15A, for smart devices. The actual output voltage and current depend on the smart devices, it can be obtained by consulting the smart device manufacturer.
12V 6MM OUTPUT: The device comes with a 12V cigarette lighter adapter for 6mm port. This can output 9-126V DC, up to 10A. If you plan on using the 6mm outlet without adapter please confirm whether your DC 12V appliance supports charging with a 6mm DC plug (The diameter of the DC port of the product is 6 mm).
PROTECTION MODE: Short-circuit/Overload Protection: If the AC or DC output is short-circuited or overloaded (- Load(s) power output is greater than 150W), the unit will shut down power output to protect itself. Some devices, such as refrigerator, ice maker or a laser printer may require a surge power, the surge power could exceed 300W or even higher, this could cause overload protection with this unit. Please remove the devices and consult with the device manufacturers for more information.

HOW TO USE THE FLASHLIGHT

  1. Press Flashlight ON/OFF button once to turn light on
  2. Press button again to make light 50% brightness

RECHARGING WITH SOLAR PANELS (OPTIONAL)

Make sure to use a panel with 8mm output plug. Place solar panel where it will get as much direct sunlight as possible. Plug the output of the solar panel into the input on the back of the power station to start charging. You will know the unit is charging when the blue LED Battery Indicator lights up and blinks. The unit is fully charged when all battery indicators stop blinking.
NOTICE: When solar recharging your power station, take note of the voltages of the solar panels and do not exceed 22V.Individual solar panels, or solar panels chained in series in excess of 22V cannot be used with the power station and can cause serious damage to the unit. For help on chaining solar panels, call our Customer Service Center at 1-855-944-3571.
Recharging with solar panels

COLD WEATHER USE

Cold temperatures (below freezing) can affect the unit's battery capacity due to chemical characteristics of the battery. If you'll be living off-grid in sub-zero conditions, we recommend you keep your unit in an insulated cooler, and connected to a power source (solar panels). The natural heat generated by the unit contained in an insulated cooler will keep battery capacity at its highest.

MAINTENANCE

Having your power station connected to a power source, like a solar panel or wall plug, between adventures or while in storage keeps its battery healthy and topped off. This prolongs battery life and will ensure your power station is charged and ready to go all day, every day.
If you can't keep your power station plugged into a power source during storage, fully charge your power station every 3 months and store it in a cool, dry place. Failure to maintain your power station by following these steps can result in battery damage which will void the product warranty.
