Basic Features and Controls RUBBER PLATTER MAT COUNTERWEIGHT CUEING LEVER TONEARM LATCH PLATTER TONEARM PHONO CARTRIDGE SPEED SELECTOR STYLUS STOP Speed Selector - Choose the playing speed or switch to STOP to pause rotation. When the arm is at rest, the power will be turned off, so this switch may be left in your preferred speed when not being used.
The jack with the red insert should be attached to the RIGHT channel, and the plug with the white insert is the LEFT channel. A wire from the Ground Screw on SpinDeck 2 should be attached to the similar ground screw on Spinbase or other compatible amplifier. If your amplifier does not have a ground screw, slip it under one of the screws which holds the amplifier chassis together and tighten it securely.

To Set-up your SpinDeck 2 Adjust the Tonearm Tracking Force The most important setup step is to balance the tonearm and set tracking force. We recommend doing this first so that there are fewer components, such as the platter, in the way to interfere.
The turntable is supplied with a power adapter. Plug the power adapter into the DC power jack at the rear of SpinDeck 2 first, then plug the adapter into your AC power. Press the power switch on the rear panel to energize the internal circuitry. It is unnecessary to switch the power off under normal use, as the power will be turned off when the tonearm is at rest.
Useful Tips SpinDeck 2 should be positioned on a low-resonance surface such as wood or multiple layer ply board to avoid structural vibrations disturbing replay. The Andover SpinSystem components have been specially designed to provide a stable, solid support that perfectly compliments SpinDeck 2.
