MOUNTING THE BASE INSTALLING THE BASE PLATE STEP 1 Lay the pedestal base plate on the concrete pad, ensuring the input power cable is located precisely underneath the opening of the base plate. Mark (4) drilling locations on the concrete foundation using the holes in the pedestal base plate as reference.

STEP 9 Using an appropriate cutting tool, neatly trim both conduits to the marked lengths.

MOUNTING THE CHARGING STATION ELECTRICAL WIRING STEP 1 Thread the input power cables from the bottom of the pedestal base up towards the wiring window to meet the power leads from the charger(s). STEP 2 Terminate the charger leads to the incoming power. Ensure all connections are adequately grounded, taking into account the pedestal grounding wire.
Tighten all loose connectors to secure the conduit(s) in place. STEP 5 To complete the installation, secure the bracket to the sides of the charger by tightening the (2) original screws. MOUNTING THE EV PARKING SIGN Two (2) EV CHARGING ONLY parking signs included with pedestal top. You can use the pedestal top to display your signs, or easily mount to standard street parking sign poles. STEP 1 Secure the parking sign to the front of the pedestal top using (2) cross machine teeth screws.
