    INTENDED USE 1. INTENDED USE The 30 inch ride on mower is for cutting grass on lawns. It is for outdoor use only. It is designed for domestic use and is not designed for commercial, trade or industrial use.

    DESCRIPTION OF PARTS 2. DESCRIPTION OF PRODUCT PARTS Clutch/Brake Pedal: The pedal has two functions - clutch and brake Parking Brake: Use to engage the brake when you leave your mower. Lift Lever: Use to adjust the cutting height. Throttle Control Lever: Use to increase or decrease the speed of the engine.

Read, fully understand and follow all instructions on the machine before attempting to assemble and operate it. To reduce the risk of injury, users must read the instruction manual carefully.

Wear protective gloves. Do not expose to rain. Wait until the engine is completely stopped before touching the moving parts.

    GENERAL SAFETY WARNINGS 5. GENERAL SAFETY WARNINGS Know your control. Read the instruction manual carefully. Learn how to stop the engine quickly in any emergency. Operators shall have adequate training before operating the mower. Do not allow children or people unfamiliar with these instructions to use the mower.

Before using, always visually inspect to see that blades, blade bolts and cutter assembly are not worn or damaged. Replace worn or damaged blades and bolts in sets to preserve balance.

    ASSEMBLY 6. ASSEMBLY 1. ASSEMBLING THE STEERING WHEEL 1. Make sure the front wheels point forward. 2. Slide the tube into the console. Make sure the end of the tube fits over the steering bushing. 3. Slide the steering wheel and steering post into the tube and console. 4.
  • Page 12 ASSEMBLY 3. Align the holes in the seat to the holes in the seat support. Fasten the seat to the seat support with the bolts and wing bolts provided. 4. Check the operating position of the seat. If the seat needs to be adjusted, loosen the wing bolts.
  • Page 13 5. INSTALLING THE MULCHER COVER 1. Remove the fasteners that secure the mulcher cover. 2. Lift the mulcher cover. Mount the side discharge attachment onto the same bolts that secured the mulcher cover. 3. Secure the side discharge attachment with the fasteners. 4.

    PREPARTION 7. PREPARTION 1. CHECKING ENGINE OIL LEVEL AND ADDING OIL WARNING! Be sure to check the engine oil while the mower is on level ground with the engine turned off. WARNING! To avoid engine damage, check oil level before each use and be sure the oil fill cap is tightened securely.
  • Page 15 PREPARTION 2. FILLING FUEL WARNING! Use fresh unlead fuel (petrol), 90 Octane or better. Do not use E10 or Ethanol blends. WARNING! Fuel (petrol) is highly inflammable. Handle the fuel (petrol) with extreme precaution. Keep the fuel (petrol) out of reach of children. WARNING! Do not smoke when handling the fuel (petrol).

    OPERATION 8. OPERATION WARNING! Check and ensure all controls are properly functioning before operating the mower. WARNING! Stop the engine and park the mower before leaving the operator's position. WARNING! The mower shall not be operated without the grass catcher in place.

  • Page 18 OPERATION 4. CHANGING THE SPEED AND DIRECTION OF THE MOWER - SHIFT LEVER The speed and direction of the mower can be controlled by the shift lever. To go forward, move the shift lever to a forward speed setting. To go backward, move the shift lever to reverse position. Fig.
