| TROUBLESHOOTING

PROBLEM
The remote doesn't work.
The unit doesn't work.
The digital RCA output
doesn't work.
CAUSE
|
The GN remote can be
used to control more than
one unit. To control each
unit the correct mode
must be selected on the
remote.
|
The batteries are too low.
|
The unit is not powered
correctly.
|
The unit has triggered the
protection mode due to
improper use or unstable
power supply.
|
The fuse in the AC socket
is blown.
|
The connection cable
used is not a 75Ω digital
cable.
|
Your AC power system is
not grounded.

SOLUTION
|
Press the "CD" button on
the remote.
|
Replace the batteries in
the remote.
|
Check that the power
cord and the wall outlet
are working.
|
Turn OFF the unit, then
unplug it from the AC
socket and wait 60
seconds, then plug it
back and turn the CD-10
ON.
|
Call a certified Gold Note
dealer to schedule a
service operation. Do not
attempt to replace the
blown fuse on your own.
|
Use a 75Ω digital cable.
|
Contact a certified dealer
for assistance.
