CAUTION:
Stability - The wheelchair is designed to be safe and stable
provided the center of gravity is maintained while conduc�ng
normal ac�vi�es. Care must be taken while performing
ac�vi�es that shi� your center of gravity in the chair. Never
extend your reach so far that it requires you to shi� in the seat or
bend over out of the chair. When reaching for objects that
require you to lean, be certain the front casters are poin�ng in a
forward posi�on that extends the wheelbase to stabilize the chair.
Ramps - Be sure of your capabili�es, limita�ons and strength
before a�emp�ng to go up a ramp. Correct techniques on
ramp nego�a�on should be demonstrated by a qualified
professional. Assistance is recommended when going up or
down inclines greater than 10
avoid sudden and abrupt movement when you resume
mo�on. Due to the backward angle of the chair, sudden abrupt
movement could cause instability.
A�emp�ng to use the wheel lock brakes could result in
accidental locking, �pping to one side, or cause a sudden
stop. Avoid changing direc�on when going down an incline,
as this could result in instability or the wheelchair �pping over.
