Operating The Transmitter
To send a signal to the receiver, a button on the face of the transmitter must
be pressed for a minimum of 2 seconds. The red light on the transmitter
face plate will illuminate when the transmitter is sending a signal.
This transmitter only sends a coded signal for a period of 2 seconds each
time the button is pressed. If the receiving device fails to respond after 2
seconds, release the button, then press it again.
If you are using a two or three button transmitter, the receiving device is
programmed to a particular button on your transmitter and will only respond
to a signal from that button.
Operating Range
The maximum range of this device is determined by several factors, including
the receiving device and the location of the receiving antenna. Normally,
you should expect a range of 75 to 100 feet.
