*1: Function numbers 30 and 31 adjust the temperature the indoor unit thermistor de-
tects. Not available when the wired remote controller sensor is enabled.
*2: Auto restart is an emergency function such as for power failure etc. Do not start and
stop the indoor unit by this function in normal operation. Be sure to operate by the
control unit, converter or external input device.
*3: Function number 68 and 69 will be usable provided that the corresponding operating
device is connected.

8. TEST RUN

NOTE:
For information on how to check the operation of the Safety measures unit, refer to the
installation manual of the Gas sensor kit.

8.1. Test run using Outdoor unit (PCB)

Refer to the installation manual for the outdoor unit if the PCB for the outdoor unit is to be
used for the test run.

8.2. Test run using Remote Controller

Refer to the installation manual for the remote controller to perform the test run using the
wireless remote controller. When the air conditioner is being test run, the OPERATION
and TIMER indicators flash slowly at the same time.

9. CHECK LIST

Pay special attention to the check items below when installing the indoor unit(s). After
installation is complete, be sure to check the following check items again.
Has the indoor unit been installed correctly?
Has there been a check for gas leaks (refriger-
ant pipes)?
Has thermal insulation work been completed? Water leakage
Does water drain easily from the indoor units? Water leakage
Is the voltage of the power source the same as
that indicated on the label on the indoor unit?
Are the wires and pipes all connected com-
pletely?
Is the indoor unit earthed (grounded)?
Is the connection cable the specified thick-
ness?
Are the inlets and outlets free of any ob-
stacles?
Does start and stop air conditioner operation
by remote controller or external device?
Is the function setting suitable for the safety
measures unit connected?
After installation is completed, has the proper
operation and handling been explained to the
user?
