Product overview The Working at Height 2005 Act necessitates a safe system of work at height for maintenance of all buildings. Davit systems are now an essential solution for Cleaning & range of Davit based solutions. EdgeSeil Davit is designed for lifting and lowering personnel and materials and complies with EN795:2012, PD CEN/TS 16415 and BS8610:2017. -

Page 5: Safe Use & Maintenance
Safe Use & Maintenance ● The EdgeSeil Davit™ ladder and platform is designed for one user at a time with a maximum weight of 125kg. This load must not be exceeded. ● The user should be rigged to the Davit base or attached to another appropriate EN795:2012 / BS8610:2017 anchor before erecting or using this equipment. -

Maintenance Edgeseil™ davit and its components must be assessed and recertified by a competent engineer at intervals of 12 months for corrosive and harsh environments. If more frequent assessments, then it may be done at intervals of 6 months. Edgeseil™ davit and its components must be cleaned using a damp or dry cloth. Chemicals which can damage its components must never be used. - Page 7 Edgeseil spine ladder Inspect the spine ladder and ensure that there is no deterioration or deformation due to weathering or overloading of the system. Ensure that there is no deformation and elongation of the fixing holes. Non slip soled shoes should be worn for climbing.

Technical Specification The ladder is manufactured to BS4211:2005+A1:2008. All ladder and platform material is aluminium. Aluminium extrusion is 6082-T6 grade Aluminium tread plate is 5754-H114 grade Aluminium sheet is 5251-H22 grade All fixings for the ladder and platform are A2 grade stainless steel.
