INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Determining Height The overall length of ladder would be measured so the topmost rung is flush with top of egress/platform/walking surface. If you have a platform attached at top of ladder the bottom of platform should clear parapet by a minimum of 51mm (2”). Once you are sure of your height, trim ladder extension accordingly. -

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Brackets Brackets to be installed flush against wall. Bracket layout to follow closely to shop drawings provided. Ensure every section of ladder has at least one (1) bracket. Ensure that bolted connection from bracket through ladder does not interfere with rungs. - Page 9 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Lifeline Ladder Insert half of ladder splice into Drill holes in ladder body to align bottom and top halves of ladder with bracket holes. - Page 11 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Lifeline Ladder Use pilot holes on starter section to drill through ladder. Secure platform to starter section using four (4) M10-1.5x100mm bolt/nut/washer sets, torqued to 6 lb-ft. If there is a ladder section required on back side of platform, repeat step 5.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Assembling Lifeline LAD-SAF to be installed as per manufacturers instructions. To be clamped to rung 1, 2, and 4 from top of ladder. Thread cable through top bracket Install top bracket onto the 1st, 2nd, and install cap. 4th rungs, secure with supplied square u-bolts torqued to 20-25ft-lbs. - Page 14 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Assembling Lifeline Install cable guides at 25’ Install the bottom bracket over intervals (not required if cable is bottom 2 rungs, secure with less than 25’). supplied square u-bolts torqued to 20-25ft-lbs. Attach cable to tensioning rod. Connect cable to bottom bracket and tension.

OPERATION & MAINTENANCE Only use system in accordance with applicable codes and regulations. An annual inspection of the system is encouraged to ensure that all fasteners are correctly tightened and the system is performing correctly.
