Mode Selection
To access Mode Selection, press the power button
for 10 seconds. If Monitor Mode is enabled, the
Shut Down option will not be available.

Monitor Mode
Driver will need to manually enter monitor mode
to prevent Temperature Control function when
they are away from the tractor to maintain
battery charging and coolant temperature (if
applicable).

Initiating Monitor Mode
SELECT SELECT SELECT
1. Monitor Mode can be activated by using the
Monitor Mode Selection screen. See above
how to access the mode selection screen.
2. When initiating Monitor Mode screen will go
black.
3. Press any button on the HMI to change the
mode from Monitor to Temperature Control.
Standby Mode
Standby mode is used to disable operation
of the APU, usually while the truck engine
is running or during periods where the APU
operation should be paused, such as refueling.

Initiating Standby Mode
SELECT SELECT SELECT
1. Standby mode can be activated by using the
Mode Selection screen. See above how to
access the mode selection screen.
2. The initiating standby mode screen will show
for a few seconds indicating success.
3. Press any button on the HMI to change the mode from
Standby to Temperature Control.
Other System Characteristics
When the APU is turned off both the Arctic
Option and Battery Voltage Monitoring system
functions will be disabled.
