Installation 7. The microwave oven must not be placed in a cabinet. The microwave oven is intended to be used freestanding. 8. There is manufacturing residue or oil remaining in the oven cavity or heat element that may cause a strange odor or in some cases smoke. This is normal, and will not occur after several uses.

Operation of Control Panel The time range for defrosting using a timer is between 0:10 and 60:00. After selecting the defrost weight or time, press the “START/+30s” button to begin operation. A beeping sound will notify completion of the operation. The DEF1 Defrost Mode will produce a beeping sound to notify you the food should be turn over to ensure proper defrosting.

Operation of Control Panel CAUTION a. The temperature of food before cooking should be between 20-25°C. Any foods higher or lower in temperature may require longer or shorter cooking times. b. The temperature, weight and shape of the food strongly influences the cooking effect of the oven.

Operation of Control Panel START/+30s After setting your desired cooking time or food weight, press the “START/+30s” button to begin the appliance operation immediately. While in operation, you can press the “START/+30s” button to add on time. Press the button once to add 30 seconds to the timer.
Utensils Guidelines Plastic Film This material should not be used when cooking meats or chops as the high temperatures may damage the plastic film. Grill Rack The grill rack should only be used alongside the Grill mode and Combinations modes. Metal Contain- No metals should ever be used alongside the microwave oven.
Cooking Tips Food Completion Status The colour and hardness of the food helps to determine if it has been properly cooked, including: - Steam being produced from all parts of the food, not just the edges. - Joints of poultry can be easily moved. - Pork or poultry shows no signs of blood.
