F OR D C U STOM | OPERATING THE RAMP VW KEY FOB GM WIRELESS REMOTE Unlock the vehicle using the central locking system on the key. Check the switch on the side of the GM wireless remote handset Ensure there is sufficient space behind the vehicle. Stand well is set to ON. - Page 5 | FO RD C U STOM OPERATING THE RAMP Press OPEN to open the powered tailgate and ramp. To close the ramp and tailgate, from either in or outside the vehicle, press CLOSE.
- Page 6 F O R D C U STO M | OPERATING THE RAMP After 15 minutes of the vehicle being left unlocked the air suspension automatically enters sleep mode. To activate the air suspension press UNLOCK on the key. If you are inside the vehicle press UNLOCK on the key or turn the ignition on.

| FORD CUSTOM HANDBRAKE HANDBRAKE The handbrake is operated by pressing the button to the right of the steering wheel. Press it once to turn the handbrake on secur- ing the vehicle in its position. The handbrake symbol on the dashboard will illuminate and the red light on the handbrake switch will be on. -

Due to the great variation in wheelchair design you must satisfy yourself that the restraints are appropriate for your wheelchair.

F O R D C U STO M | TYRE INFLATOR Your Ford Custom comes with a tyre inflator kit. The kit replaces the need for a spare tyre. Inside the kit box you will find a cylinder of fluid, which will plug a puncture in your tyre, and a tyre inflator to connect to the 12V socket in the car. -
