Realtime Release Photography
To use this rrKKie. set the custom function CFt to 1.
Set the focus.
• Position the AF frame over
the subfeci and press the
stMjtter button down
halfway.
^The camera makes a brief
whirring sound.
^ The green indicator lights
when the subject is In
focus.
• Keep the shutter button
pressed down halfway.
Take the picture.
•
When the photo opportunity
arrives, press the shutter
button down fully.
* The shutter is released
immedately.

• If you press the shutter button all the way down in a
single movement, realtime r^ase does not operate.
• Take care that the distance from the camera to the
subject does not change. II the dislance does change,
start again from step 1.
• Take care not to touch the lens as this may result in
the picture being out of focus.
• The ^<i) araf g modes use red-eye reduction and
should not be used, as ihe shutter cannot be released
immediately.
• The Focus Lock function can be used In the same
way as for normal photography.
