    OPERATING THE SIDE LIFT | VW Colorado 1. Ensure there is sufficient space to the side of the vehicle before operating the lift. 2. Press OPEN DOOR to activate the electric sliding doors. 3. Press the next button across which will deploy the lift. The lift LOWER LIFT will extend outwards from its housing beneath the vehicle (see figure 1).

    HANDBRAKE & FIRETRACE | VW Colorado HANDBRAKE The handbrake is operated by pressing the button to the right of the steering wheel. Press it once to turn the handbrake on securing the vehicle in its position. The handbrake symbol on the dashboard will illuminate and the red light on the handbrake switch will be on.
