    Instructions for use 1. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE THIS MANUAL IS AN INTEGRAL PART OF THE APPLIANCE. THEREFORE IT MUST BE KEPT IN ITS ENTIRETY AND IN AN ACCESSIBLE PLACE FOR THE WHOLE WORKING LIFE OF THE COOKER. THE PLUG TO BE CONNECTED TO THE POWER SUPPLY CABLE AND THE RELATIVE SOCKET MUST BE OF THE SAME TYPE AND COMPLY WITH THE REGULATIONS IN FORCE.

    Instructions for the installer 5. INSTALLING THE APPLIANCE The appliance must be installed by a qualified technician and according to the regulations in force. This appliance may be installed next to walls, one of which must be higher than the worktop, at a minimum distance of 5 cm from the side of the appliance, as shown in drawings A and B relative to the installation classes.

    5.2 Mounting the rear top skirtboard • Loosen nuts B. • Position the skirt above the top, taking care to align pins C with holes D. • Secure the skirt to the top by tightening screws A. 5.3 Positioning and levelling the appliance (on some models only) After making the electrical connection, level the appliance on the ground by means of its four adjustable feet.

    Instructions for the user 6. GETTING TO KNOW YOUR COOKER 12 30 12 30 6.1 General Description 6.1.1 Oven runners The oven features 3 runners for positioning trays and racks at different heights. The insertion heights are numbered from the bottom upwards (see figure). 6.1.2 Cooling system The oven is equipped with a cooling system which automatically comes on a few minutes after the oven is turned on.

    7. DESCRIPTION OF THE CONTROLS ON THE FRONT PANEL All the controls and indicator lights can be seen on the front panel. The symbols used are described in the table below. The electric oven’s various functions are suitable for different cooking modes. After selecting the desired function, set the cooking temperature using the thermostat knob.

The hotplate controlled is indicated above every knob.

    8. USING THE COOKING HOB 8.1 Cooking zones The appliance has 4/5 cooking zones with various diameters and power levels. Their positions are clearly indicated with circles and heat is released within the diameters traced on the glass surface. The 5 cooking zones are HIGH-LIGHT zones and come on a few seconds after activation.

    Instructions for the user 9. USING THE OVEN Before using the oven, check that the display is showing the symbol. The appliance becomes very hot during use. Oven gloves should always be worn. All cooking operations must be carried out with the door closed. 9.1 General warnings and advice Before using the oven and the grill for the first time, pre-heat to maximum temperature long enough to burn any manufacturing oily residues which could give the food a bad smell.

    9.3 USING THE ROTISSERIE ROD (when present) Thread the support frame onto the second guide from the bottom so that the rod’s housing protrudes from the oven. Position the rod as shown in figure (1) and push the frame into the oven until the end of the rod lines up with the rotisserie motor’s hole.

    Instructions for the user 10.4 End of cooking At the end of the cooking time the oven will switch off automatically and simultaneously a buzzer will start to sound in on-off mode. After the buzzer is stopped, the display will return to showing the current time together with the symbol, indicating that the oven is again ready for use in manual mode.

    Instructions for the user 11.AVAILABLE ACCESSORIES The oven features 4 runners for positioning trays and racks at different heights. Oven rack: for cooking food inside dishes, small cakes, roasts or foods that require slight grilling. Tray rack: for placing on top of a tray for cooking foods which may drip.

    12.CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE Before performing any operations requiring access to powered parts, switch off the power supply to the appliance. Never use a jet of steam for cleaning the appliance. 12.1 Cleaning stainless steel To keep stainless steel in good condition, it must be cleaned regularly when you are done using the cooker, after it has cooled.

    Instructions for the user 12.5 Cleaning the door glazing The glass in the door should always be kept thoroughly clean. Use absorbent kitchen roll; remove stubborn dirt with a damp sponge and an ordinary detergent. When cleaning, dry the appliance thoroughly to prevent water or detergent drips from interfering with its operation or creating unsightly marks.

    Instructions for the user 13.EXTRAORDINARY MAINTENANCE The oven may require extraordinary maintenance or replacement of parts subject to wear such as gaskets, bulbs, etc. The following instructions describe how to carry out these minor maintenance operations.
